   We began the day with pancakes with pecans and blue berries.
This has been breakfast menu for several mornings.  

   Most of the patients today were from Nicaragua, just up 
or down stream on the Rio Coco.  

     The noon time temp was over 100 degrees.  We participated
in the ritual of the siesta. Everyone is fighting over battery
powered fans, and talking about how would one adjust to this
climate. Other teams report exceptional heat, too.

   "Ten year old with too many complaints to list here, and 
TBL (total body lice)."

   Spaghetti for supper.  Then cold bucket shower.
