    After race review:
[]  We got compliments on our ability to commnicate.  "We don't have to put up tall towers anymore!"
[]  Do to limited radios from the county, we started the event by managing bus traffice on the one-lane road leading into SpringMaid Mt.
[]  We were flexible as a new water point was added and our staffing plan changed.
[]  HT's worked everywhere.  Net control had a Ringo Ranger @ 15', but it was not necessary.
[]  Choice of Iowa Hills repeater output freq to use simplex gave the option of using the repeater, if needed.  BUT we also wound up entering the linked repeater system through the 2M link radio onWoody's Knob.   Choose an unused simplex frequency in the future.
[]  County radios were on TAC2 - 154.175. Plan to monitor.   Lots of chatter there as paramedics worked with cuts and bee stings.
[]  Race began at 8:40, and course closed by 11:00.  First runners were on the return bus to parking lot by 9:45!
[]  Overcast weather brought in the W4APE repeater 'The Palmetto Linked System' on 146.895

   Lessons Learned:
[]  Lock radio settings so we don't bump off frequency.
[]  Test radios for functionality before race day.
[]  Redefine our race map to match water spot numbering used by race organizers.
